Dr. Bruce Abbink attended UCLA as an undergraduate in chemistry and was accepted to the UCLA School of Dentistry where he graduated with honors and was also elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the honor bestowed on the top ten students of his graduating class. He subsequently attended UCSF for his Orthodontic specialization certification and concurrent Masters of Science in Oral Biology. Dr. Abbink also has done advanced training in Orthodontics at the Roth/Williams Center for Functional Occlusion and the Lawrence Andrews Foundation in San Diego, two centers dedicated to the highest standards in orthodontics.
